Michael Arnold, PhD has extensive work experience in the engineering field. Michael started their career as a Structural Engineer at ICL Ingenieur Consult GmbH in 1997. Michael then worked as a Geotechnical Engineer at BAUGEO Baugrund Geotechnik GmbH from 2000 to 2003. From 1998 to 2006, they worked as a Research Assistant and later as a Senior Engineer (Assistant Professor) at Technische Universität Dresden.

In 2009, Michael joined BAUER Spezialtiefbau GmbH as a Project Coordinator and later moved to Technische Universität Dresden as a Senior Engineer (Assistant Professor) from 2006 to 2009.

Michael'smost recent positions include working as the Director of Research and Development at Bauer Foundation Corp. from 2012 to 2014, and as an Engineering Manager at the same company from 2014 to 2021. Currently, they serve as the Chief Engineer at Bauer Foundation Corp, where they are responsible for design, quality control, data management, and digitalization. Additionally, they lead the engineering and digitalization team and provides technical guidance as a specialist for deep soil mixing/CSM.

Throughout their career, Michael has contributed significantly to the engineering field and has played a key role in winning major contracts, including $250+ million in USACE cutoff/barrier wall contracts.

Michael Arnold, PhD completed their education in the field of Civil Engineering/Geotechnical Engineering. Michael obtained a Diplomingenieur degree (equivalent to BSc+MSc) from Technische Universität Dresden, where they studied from 1991 to 1996. Later, they pursued a Doktoringenieur (PhD) degree from the same institution, which they completed in 2004.
