Michael Weigel

Michael Weigel is an experienced professional in the field of business management and engineering with a career spanning over 25 years. Currently serving as Global Business Manager at Baumer Group since July 2008, Michael has held various key positions including Business Unit Manager, Head of Customer Product Development SE, and Head of Development Time of Flight SE. Prior to Baumer Group, Michael worked at IDM GmbH Industriesensoren as Project Manager and Head of Industrial Sensorics, and held earlier roles as Project Manager in Sensor Development and R&D Engineer in Measurement Technology/Optics. Michael began the career at Roche Diagnostics Europe as an R&D Engineer and completed an internship at HERA. Academic qualifications include a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in International Business Management, and a Dipl.-Ing. (FH) in Applied Physics, both obtained from Ravensburg-Weingarten University of Applied Sciences.
