Charles Chen is the Assistant General Counsel for Asia Pacific at Baxter, a position held since March 2007 after joining the company in 2001 as Corporate Counsel for China. With extensive experience in legal support across multiple countries in the Asia Pacific region, Charles also led Baxter's Ethics & Compliance Function from 2013 to 2015. Prior to Baxter, Charles worked as Legal Counsel at Alcatel-Lucent, where significant contributions included advising on major acquisitions and contracts in the telecom sector, and as a Chinese Law Consultant at Coudert Brothers, assisting with restructuring and investment projects. Charles earned a Bachelor's Degree in International Economic Law from Fudan University in 1995.
