David Wilkes

David Wilkes is a committed researcher and entrepreneur, currently serving as Dean Emeritus at the University of Virginia School of Medicine and the National Director of the Harold Amos Medical Faculty Development Program at the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation. From 2004 to 2015, Wilkes directed the Center for Immunobiology at Indiana University School of Medicine, where they spearheaded a $150M Strategic Research Initiative and secured significant NIH funding. Wilkes is also the President/CEO of the Amos Institute for Medical Faculty Development and has held board positions with several organizations, including Syneos Health and Baxter International. They earned a Bachelor of Science from Villanova University and a medical degree from Temple University - Lewis Katz School of Medicine.
