Derian DeBattista is an accomplished Environment Health & Safety Manager with extensive experience in managing health, safety, environmental, security, and quality responsibilities across various industries. Derian has held key positions at MaltaPost, Enemed, and the Regulator for Energy and Water Services, specializing in health and safety management and compliance. Currently, Derian lectures at the University of Malta and the Institute for Education - Malta while managing environment, health, and safety at Baxter International Inc. Derian also pursues an MSc in Risk, Crisis and Disaster Management at the University of Leicester, building on a foundation of a Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety and a technical diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
