Dr Jörg Kurz

Dr. Jörg Kurz currently serves as the Medical Director of Organ Support Therapy at Baxter International Inc. Since 2015, they have held roles in the Medtech industry, focusing on regulatory affairs, clinical evaluation across device risk classes, and clinical trial design. With over 15 years of hands-on experience in anesthesia and intensive care medicine, particularly in ECMO, Dr. Kurz has also contributed to academic research on pathophysiology and pharmacology during their earlier appointments at various academic institutions. They earned their medical degree and doctorate with magna cum laude honors from Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg im Breisgau and are a certified regulatory affairs manager.
