Jason Herbst

Jason Herbst is an experienced security professional currently serving as a Senior Architect for Cloud, Application, and AI Security at Baxter International Inc. since August 2025, where efforts focus on security architecture for cloud platforms and connected medical devices. Previously, Jason worked at Medtronic as a Principal Product Security Engineer and Senior Product Security Engineer, leading testing efforts and overseeing vulnerability monitoring across product lines. At Collins Aerospace, Jason held the role of Senior Security Engineer, establishing security standards and frameworks organization-wide. Prior experience includes roles at St. Jude Medical, Technical/Security Consultant, The Nerdery, and Merrill Corporation, where Jason developed security programs and managed security events. Jason holds a Graduate Certificate in Penetration Testing & Ethical Hacking from SANS Technology Institute and a Bachelor's Degree in Information Assurance and Security from Capella University.
