Mark Michaelsen has extensive experience in sales and management within the surgical and medical device industries. From June 2015 to August 2019, Mark served as Director of Sales at Zimmer Biomet. Prior to this role, Mark was the Regional Sales Manager at Biomet Microfixation from 2010 to June 2015. Currently, Mark holds the position of Principal Owner at CEMD Surgical, specializing in surgical sales consulting, and will transition to Orthobiologics Business Manager for the West region at Baxter International Inc. starting June 2025. Additional experience includes serving as President of CEMD Distribution from September 2019 to December 2021, Director of Physician Development at MDVIP from February 2022 to September 2023, and Financial Solutions Manager at GE Commercial Finance between 2001 and 2004. Mark began a career in the medical field as a distributor at Gulf Coast Surgical, Inc. from 2004 to 2011. Mark graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from the United States Military Academy at West Point.
