Umasankar Viswanathan is currently the Director of R&D at Baxter International Inc., where they oversee Sustenance R&D projects for Airway Clearance Devices and build advanced cross-functional teams. With over three decades of experience in product development, strategic planning, and program management, Umasankar has held significant roles at various notable firms, including GE Healthcare and Tata Motors. They have successfully led diverse engineering teams, developed innovative healthcare products, and established effective manufacturing processes. Umasankar holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Madras.
