J. Christopher Stein

J. Christopher Stein, MD, PhD, MPH, is a Senior Global Safety Lead at Bayer, specializing in Cell & Gene Therapies. After completing a Doctor of Medicine and a PhD in Physiology at St. Louis University, Stein pursued a residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology, followed by a Master of Public Health at the University of Kentucky College of Medicine. With extensive experience in clinical practice, patient safety, and pharmacovigilance, Stein has held notable positions, including Director of Medical Safety at Allergan and Senior Medical Director at Intellia Therapeutics. Additionally, Stein has contributed to biomedical education as an adjunct clinical instructor at Missouri State University.
