Jayla Allen is a seasoned Trait Development Manager and business-owner with extensive experience in herbicide research and development. They managed biological aspects of herbicides at Bayer CropScience from 2011 to 2017, where they developed testing programs for various crops. Currently, they hold the position of Trait Development Manager at BASF and lead their own venture, AllenIndustriesLLC.com. Jayla earned a Master’s degree in Weed Science and a Bachelor’s degree in Plant Science with a minor in Agricultural Economics from the University of Missouri-Columbia. They are also a dedicated farmer and mother.
