Amanda Bowie has a diverse work experience spanning from 2006 to 2023. Amanda started their career as an Office Administrative Clerk at the U.S. Naval Research Laboratory, where they excelled at managing schedules and coordinating events. Amanda then worked as an Editorial Assistant, demonstrating strong writing and editing skills in public affairs tasks. From 2011 to 2013, they served as a Marketing and Public Relations Specialist at MedStar St. Mary's Hospital, developing comprehensive marketing plans and writing articles for newsletters. Since 2014, Amanda has been with Bayhealth, starting as a Marketing Communications Specialist and later progressing to roles such as Marketing Operations Manager and Senior Marketing Communications Manager. Amanda has been responsible for directing the development of various marketing materials, managing budgets and workflows, and strategizing marketing campaigns to drive patient load and revenue growth. In their current role as Interim Vice President, Marketing & Communications at Bayhealth, they continue to contribute their expertise in marketing and communications.
Amanda Bowie earned a Bachelor's Degree in English Language and Literature/Letters from the University of Maryland Global Campus in 2009. Prior to that, they obtained an Associate's Degree in Legal Assistant/Paralegal from the College of Southern Maryland in 2004. Additionally, Amanda completed an Associate's Degree in Secondary Education and Teaching at the College of Southern Maryland in 2006. Most recently, they pursued a Master of Science in Management with a focus on Marketing/Marketing Management, General at Wilmington University from 2017 to 2020.
