Ali Tatar

Ali Tatar is an Assistant Professor of Aeronautical Engineering at Istanbul Technical University, where they also serve as Deputy Head of the Aeronautical Engineering Department. They have extensive experience in vibration engineering and structural dynamics, having worked at multiple prestigious institutions including Rice University, Imperial College London, and Leonardo. Ali's research focuses on various topics such as whirl flutter control, aeroelastic tailoring, and vibration fatigue in aircraft, contributing significantly to both academic and industrial projects. They hold a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Imperial College London and have collaborated on innovative research in rotor dynamics and vibration isolation systems.
