Nicolas Pitre

Nicolas Pitre has extensive experience in the software engineering field. Nicolas is currently working as a Senior Software Engineer at BayLibre since April 2019. Prior to this, they held the position of Senior Software Architect at Linaro from April 2010 to March 2019. Nicolas was responsible for being an ARM Linux kernel expert and was a member of Linaro's Office of the CTO (OCTO). Before joining Linaro, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Marvell Technology Group Ltd. from September 2007 to April 2010. Prior to that, they served as a Senior Software Engineer at MontaVista Software, Inc. from November 2000 to September 2007. Nicolas started their career as a Software Developer at VisuAide, Inc. in May 1995 and worked there until November 1999. Additionally, they gained experience as a Linux expert at VIPSwitch, Inc. from November 1999 to November 2000.

Nicolas Pitre obtained a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Engineering from Polytechnique Montréal, during the period from 1991 to 1995.
