Senior Research Development Scientist at Baylor Genetics

Ping Ji is a highly experienced research development scientist currently serving as a Senior Research Development Scientist at Baylor Genetics since December 2022. Previously, Ping Ji held positions as a Senior Scientist at Fulgent Genetics, where a multiplex test for leukemia transcript expression was developed, and as an Assistant Professor at UTMB, where a novel next-generation sequencing technology was established, leading to a filed US patent. Earlier experience includes significant contributions to oncology research as a Research Scientist/Instructor at MD Anderson Cancer Center and as a Research Scientist at the University of Münster, where pioneering work on DNA damage response models and metastasis suppressor identification was conducted. Ping Ji received a Ph.D. in Molecular Biology from the Graduate School of Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences and a Bachelor's Degree in Biology from Soochow University.
