Prithvi Bhat has a diverse work experience in the field of genetics and biomedical research. Starting in 2014, they worked as a Summer Trainee at Azyme Biosciences and as a Marketing Intern at Kreative Pool. In 2015, they served as a Summer Intern at Supreem Pharmaceuticals Mysore Pvt Ltd. In 2017, Prithvi joined Texas A&M Engineering Experiment Station (TEES) as a Graduate Student Worker, focusing on designing charts and figures. At the same time, they also worked as a Graduate Assistant at The National Center for Therapeutics Manufacturing (NCTM) at Texas A&M University. Later that year, Prithvi interned as a Business Strategy Intern at Fortis Biosciences, a startup combining microbiome research with human metabolomics. In 2018, they served as a Research Assistant Internship at the Department of Biomedical, Texas A&M University. Prithvi's most recent role is with Baylor Genetics, where they have worked since 2019. Prithvi started as a Product Coordinator before progressing to the role of Product Manager and Senior Product Manager, specializing in NICU/PICU & Pediatrics. Currently, Prithvi holds the position of Associate Director of Product Strategy at Baylor Genetics.
Prithvi Bhat has a diverse education history spanning various fields and institutions. In 2023-2025, Prithvi attended Rice Business - Jones Graduate School of Business and obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree. Prior to this, in 2020, Prithvi completed a certificate program in Product Strategy at Northwestern University.
From 2016 to 2018, Prithvi pursued a Master of Biotechnology degree at Texas A&M University. Prithvi also completed a certification in Pharmaceutical Supply Chain Management from the National Center for Therapeutics Manufacturing in October 2016. In August 2016, they obtained a certification in Responsible Conduct of Research for Engineers from the Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative (CITI Program). Additionally, Prithvi acquired a certification in Social and Behavioral Research Investigators and Key Personnel from the CITI Program in January 2017.
Prithvi has taken various additional courses related to their field, such as Introduction to Pharmaceutical Manufacturing, Safety in the Biopharmaceutical Industry, Understanding the Science of the Biopharmaceutical Industry, and cGMP Procedures and Documentation, all from the National Center for Therapeutics Manufacturing.
