Zhenyou Wang

Zhenyou Wang is an accomplished optical scientist with extensive experience in developing advanced spectrometers and optical sensors. Currently employed at BaySpec Inc. since March 2018, Zhenyou focuses on cutting-edge technologies for gas isotope measurement. Prior to this role, Zhenyou worked as a physicist at ArrowGrand Technologies, where development projects included quantum cascade laser (QCL) mid-infrared spectrometers. As a postdoctoral research fellow at the University of Toronto, Zhenyou led a team in the creation of various optical sensors for industrial applications, effectively collaborating with industry partners and mentoring master's students. Zhenyou's academic background includes a PhD in ultrafast imaging and THz spectroscopy from the University of Alberta and a Master's degree in Materials of Physics and Chemistry from Sun Yat-sen University.
