Michael Timms has extensive experience in finance, particularly in asset-backed finance and private equity. At Wells Fargo Securities, Michael served as Director for Subscription Finance and Fixed Income Sales from August 2014 to May 2021. Following this, Michael held the position of Investment Director at 17Capital from May 2021 to May 2024, working with private equity management companies to provide non-dilutive capital. Before that, Michael worked at Merrill Lynch as Managing Director and International Equity Sales Trader from June 2009 to March 2013. Currently, Michael is the Managing Director and Co-Head of Fund Finance at Bayview Asset Management, LLC since February 2025. Michael holds a Master of Science in Finance from the University of Virginia, along with a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the same institution.
