Shelley Han

Shelley Han is an experienced tax planning professional currently serving as the AVP of Tax Planning at Bayview Asset Management, LLC since April 2022. Prior to this role, Shelley worked at EY as an M&A Tax Associate in the International Tax & Transaction Services division from September 2018 to March 2022. Previous experience includes a position as a Judicial Extern at the US Tax Court and serving as a Student Attorney and Summer Dean's Fellow at the Janet R. Spragens Federal Tax Clinic. Additionally, Shelley was a Dean's Fellow to Professor Heather Hughes at American University Washington College of Law and a Summer Associate in the Business Law Group at Gowling WLG Canada. Earlier experience includes resource management with the Canadian Armed Forces, where Shelley received the Best Candidate Award in the Basic Military Qualifications course. Educational qualifications include an LLM in Tax Law/Taxation from New York University School of Law, a JD magna cum laude from American University Washington College of Law, and a BA in Geography and Geographic Information Science, Economics from McGill University.
