Prasad S

Prasad S has a strong background in software engineering and infrastructure development. Prasad has worked as a Senior Project Engineer at Wipro, where they built and implemented cloud resources on the AWS public cloud. Prasad is proficient in setting up monitoring and alerting mechanisms and providing technical guidance to support teams. Prasad then joined Cognizant as a Senior Infrastructure Developer, focusing on building and implementing cloud resources using manual and automated scripts. At Publicis Sapient, Prasad worked as a Senior Associate, where they played a key role in defining and implementing an effective DevOps roadmap. Prasad established infrastructure automation and robust CI/CD pipelines. Currently, Prasad is working at Bazaarvoice as a Staff Software Engineer, where they create and takes ownership of infrastructure architecture and implements cutting-edge solutions. Prasad has expertise in CI/CD tools, containerized and serverless applications, and AWS cloud.

Prasad S has a strong educational background in the field of computer science. Prasad completed a B.Sc in Computer Science from Sri GCSR Degree College, Rajam, from the years 2008 to 2011. Following this, they pursued an MS degree in Computer Science from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, from 2011 to 2015.

In addition to their formal education, Prasad has obtained several certifications to enhance their skillset. Prasad achieved the AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in July 2023. In December 2022, they obtained the [PCEP-30-02] PCEP – Certified Entry-Level Python Programmer certification from the Python Institute and the HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate (002) certification from HashiCorp. Furthermore, in June 2022, they obtained the Certified Kubernetes Administrator certification from The Linux Foundation. Lastly, Prasad achieved the AWS Solution Architect Associate certification from Amazon Web Services in July 2017.
