Todd Carroll

Todd Carroll has over 30 years of work experience in various roles within the manufacturing and distribution industry. Todd started their career as a Technical Sales/Management Trainee at Martin Sprocket & Gear in 1993, where they gained experience in sales, customer service, purchasing, and inventory control. Todd then advanced to become an Inside Sales Representative and later an Inside Sales & Operations Manager, where they oversaw the day-to-day operations of a manufacturing facility and managed distributor and OEM accounts.

In 1997, Todd joined Rexnord as a District Sales Manager, where they implemented innovative strategies to maintain and grow a territory consisting of distributors, consumers, and OEM accounts. Todd also collaborated with manufacturing facilities to negotiate deliveries for customers.

In 1999, Todd joined Renold Jeffrey as a District Sales Representative, responsible for sales and growth strategies across five northwestern states. Todd later became the Marketing Manager/Regional Manager, leading marketing and business development activities for a $24M product line. Todd also cultivated relationships with manufacturing plants in England and Germany.

From 2004 to 2013, Todd worked at Independent Distributors Cooperative (IDC-USA) as the VP of Sales and Operations. Todd oversaw sales logistics, marketing campaigns, and business operations for a national distribution cooperative. Todd also served as the National Sales Manager, overseeing strategic manufacturing marketing plans and guiding average annual growth of 23%.

In 2013, Todd joined Bearing Distributors Inc. (BDI) as the Pacific Regional Manager, where they created and deployed business development strategies across 11 western states. Todd conducted training and built a team-oriented approach through extensive travel.

From 2016 to 2018, Todd worked at WJB Group Inc./WJB Bearings as the Director of Distributor Sales. Todd led the identification, creation, and implementation of new business strategies and shaped the new company culture.

Currently, Todd is the Vice President of Sales & Marketing at B&B Manufacturing, Inc., a position they have held since September 2018. Todd also served as the Director of Marketing & Western US Sales Manager for a temporary period in 2018.

In addition to their professional experience, Todd also owned and managed Perfect Cut Lawn Care from 1987 to 1993, where they developed the business into a full-service lawn care company with annual revenues of $300,000.

Todd Carroll attended Purdue University from 1989 to 1992, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Organizational Leadership & Supervision. Todd also attended Bishop Silas Chatard High School, although no degree or field of study is specified. In terms of professional development, Carroll completed Effective Leadership Training at Dale Carnegie in 1996 and Fundamentals of Bearings & Power Transmission Applications at I.D.E.A.S. Power Transmission School in 1998. Todd also had affiliations with IDC-University, where they served as an instructor for Power Transmission Principles and Bearings from 2006 to 2013. Carroll furthered their professional development by participating in Higher Performers Sales and Leadership Training at PRADCO Consulting from 2015 to 2016. In terms of affiliations, they served on the Board of Directors for the Western Association of Industrial Distributors from 2007 to 2011 and held the position of President from 2012 to 2015.
