David Baron

David Baron CEng MIFireE PMSFPE is an accomplished fire engineering professional with extensive experience in structural fire engineering and consultancy. Currently serving as Director at BB7 since June 2023, David is responsible for establishing a robust Structural Fire Engineering service. Previously, as a Senior Subject Matter Expert at Hempel A/S from February 2018 to June 2023, David led the global Structural Fire Engineering and Estimation team and developed advanced software for fire design. David's career began as a Graduate Structural Engineer at Bell Munro Consulting Ltd. and evolved through roles such as Structural Fire Engineer at International Paint, where notable achievements included securing large projects and enhancing software tools for global use. David holds a Master’s Degree in Fire and Explosion Engineering from the University of Leeds and a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil and Structural Engineering from Newcastle University.
