Ali Moshref, PhD, is a Senior Power System Expert at BBA, where they have worked since 2012 and currently serve as the Department Manager for Power Systems and Testing. With over 35 years of experience in the energy industry, Ali specializes in power system planning, system operation, and software development for power system analysis. They co-founded CYME International Inc., leading the design of significant software tools for power system studies and contributing to their global client base. Ali has previously held positions at Powertech Labs and the International Foundation for Water, Science and Technology, among others, and has been recognized as an IEEE PES Distinguished Lecturer. Ali earned both an MSc and a PhD in Power Systems from The George Washington University and McGill University respectively.
