Jim Barrett

Jim Barrett is a Senior Metallurgist at BBA Consultants, where they have worked since 2016. Prior to this role, Jim accumulated a wealth of experience in the mining and metallurgy sectors, serving in various capacities including Metallurgical Consultant at Lakeshore Gold and Project Engineer at Inco Exploration & Technical Services. Jim's extensive background also includes roles such as Start Up Team Lead and Technical Manager at Vale, and Mill Superintendent at Voisey's Bay Nickel Company. They earned a Bachelor of Applied Science in Geological Engineering, specializing in Mineral Processing and Extractive Metallurgy, from the University of Toronto.
