Joël Kapusta

Joël Kapusta, Ph.D., FCIM, is a Senior Consulting Expert in Sonic Injection and Pyrometallurgy at BBA Consultants, where responsibilities include leading the development of expert solutions in pyrometallurgy for nonferrous metals processing. With extensive experience in both consulting and R&D, Kapusta has held leadership roles in various organizations including the Canadian Institute of Mining, Metallurgy and Petroleum, and The Minerals, Metals & Materials Society. Education includes a Ph.D. in Extractive Metallurgy from The University of British Columbia, a Master's Degree from the Institut national polytechnique de Lorraine, and a Bachelor's Degree in Applied Geology from Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1. Kapusta's expertise spans technical consulting, process optimization, and metallurgical engineering in the mining and metals sector, along with significant contributions to professional societies and conferences.
