Michel Ruel has over 35 years of experience in process control engineering, with a strong background in advanced control technologies such as Expert Systems, Model Predictive Control, and Fuzzy Logic. Michel's career includes significant leadership roles, serving as President of Top Control Inc. and Elite Technologies Inc., as well as holding the position of Senior Principal Consultant at BBA. Michel has contributed to numerous projects across 16 countries and has authored various books and publications. Academic experience includes teaching positions at several universities and colleges, complemented by education in Electrical Engineering and Process Control from Université Laval and Cegep Levis-Lauzon. Since January 2020, Michel has been self-employed and is currently retired.
