Pete Kowalewski

Pete Kowalewski is currently the Country Manager for the U.S. at BBA Consultants, a role they began in 2025 to enhance the company's presence in the U.S. and Latin American mining markets. Before this, they founded and served as Principal Engineer at Tierra Group International Ltd. from 2012 to 2025, overseeing business operations and project execution within the mining industry. Pete's extensive experience includes various roles at SRK Consulting, where they progressed from a geotechnical laboratory testing technician to Geoenvironmental Department Manager from 1992 to 2001, and held senior positions at Vector Colorado, Tetra Tech, and Olsson Associates. They hold a BSc in Geological Engineering and a Master's degree in Applied Mechanics from the Colorado School of Mines, along with PhD-level coursework in Civil Engineering from the University of Colorado at Denver.
