Seref Girgin

Seref Girgin, Ph.D., is a highly experienced Project Manager and Metallurgist in the Mining and Metals sector, currently employed at BBA since July 2011, where responsibilities include metallurgical process development, design, and optimization, as well as directing multidisciplinary mining projects. Prior to this role, Seref served as an R&D Project Leader and metallurgist at COREM from November 2005 to July 2011, leading a team focused on R&D projects and metallurgical test work. Academic experience includes positions as a research-teaching assistant at McGill University from September 2001 to November 2006 and at Istanbul Technical University from May 1997 to September 2001. Seref holds a PhD in Hydrometallurgy from McGill University, an MSc in Mineral Processing from Istanbul Technical University, and a BSc in Mining Engineering, also from Istanbul Technical University.
