Dr. Debra Wright Owens

Dr. Debra Wright Owens is the Founder and CEO of Encore Empowerment International, LLC, a business-management consulting firm established in July 2009 and based in Atlanta, GA, that focuses on helping clients achieve their vision and objectives. Additionally, Dr. Owens has served as an Arbitrator for the Better Business Bureau since April 2020, conducting arbitration hearings and facilitating communication between disputants. Previously, Dr. Owens worked as a Human Resource Specialist (Labor Relations) for the U.S. Department of the Treasury from July 2006 to June 2021, advising management on employee and labor relations issues. Dr. Owens is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Business Administration/Management from Northcentral University, holds a Master of Public Administration from Troy University, and a Bachelor of Applied Science from Saint Leo University.
