Roberto Ramírez is the founder and CEO of Hispanic Public Media, an organization dedicated to cultivating and sustaining the Spanish-speaking community through a multi-media platform. Born in Mexico, Roberto faced significant hardship after a family tragedy led to their migration to the United States, where they worked multiple jobs to support their family. In 1985, Roberto founded TIDY, a janitorial company recognized as Chicago’s Hispanic Business of the Year. They also established the Jesus-Guadalupe Foundation in 1997, providing scholarships to Hispanic students, and have served on various boards, including that of Benedictine University and the Illinois Chamber of Commerce. Currently, Roberto continues to lead Hispanic Public Media and remains active in various community service roles.
