David Moody

David Moody is the current Director of Strategy & Business Development at BBC Studios. David began their career with the BBC in October 1969 as a Senior Engineer. David quickly rose through the ranks, becoming an Operational Engineer and then a Maintenance Engineer. In their final years with the BBC, they specialized in Video Heads and Tape, ensuring compatibility between the BBC's hundreds of VTRs. David left the BBC in February 1999 to pursue other opportunities.

David Moody attended the University of Portsmouth, where they earned a BSc in engineering. David then attended Headlands Grammar School in Swindon.

David Moody reports to Tom Fussell, CEO. They work with Ralph Lee - CEO, Studios Production, Lorraine Burgess - CFO, and Mark Linsey - Managing Director, Scripted.
