Abdallah Alsalmi

Abdallah Alsalmi is a seasoned Policy Advisor with expertise in internet freedom, online censorship circumvention, and tech policy. They began their career as a news producer and contributor at The Washington Post and served as a Local News Co-Producer at Television De Catalunya-TV 3. Abdallah later worked as an Arabic Media Analyst at BBC Monitoring and contributed to various organizations, including as a Public Relations Officer at Anera. They currently hold a position as a Policy Advisor and Internet Freedom Analyst at the BBC. Abdallah earned a Master of Arts in Media and the Middle East from SOAS University of London and a Bachelor of Pharmacy from Karachi University.
