Abi Lawrence

Abi Lawrence is a senior creative industries leader with nearly 20 years of experience in shaping impactful public engagement programs and cultural initiatives across the broadcast, arts, and museums sectors. Currently serving as the Head of Public Engagement at the BBC and a Trustee at Amgueddfa Cymru – National Museum Wales, Abi has effectively led high-performing teams and managed complex budgets. Previously, they held the role of Director of Operations at Chapter Arts Centre and worked as a Sustainability Coordinator at Valleys Kids. Abi earned a Bachelor of Arts in Drama/Theatre Arts and Stagecraft from the University of Birmingham.
