Andy Benjamin

Andy Benjamin is a seasoned professional in the film and broadcasting industry with extensive experience since 1995. Currently serving as Lead Trainer at Pro Camera Training since April 2019 and as a Video Restoration Specialist at BBC Studios since January 2021, Benjamin has contributed significantly to projects such as the restoration of the title sequence for ‘Only Fools and Horses’. In a freelance capacity, Benjamin works as a Technical Manager and PTZ Operator for the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra. Past roles include Camera Assessment Engineer and Lead Technical Operator, where Benjamin developed critical training for production staff and evaluated new camera technologies. Additionally, Benjamin has shared expertise as a Guest Lecturer on Mobile Phone filming at Buckinghamshire New University and briefly served as a Camera Operator for Sony Music. An alumnus of London Metropolitan University, Benjamin holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering.
