Andy Walsh

Andy Walsh is an experienced product leader currently serving as Senior Product Manager at BBC since July 2023. Previously, Andy held multiple roles at the Department for Education, including Lead Product Manager for "Get into Teaching and Becoming a Teacher," where Andy shaped the delivery strategy for Agile teams to enhance user-centred software development for prospective teachers. Additionally, Andy led the product strategy for the Teacher Continuing Professional Development service. Prior to the Department for Education, Andy worked at the Education and Skills Funding Agency, managing digital services for apprenticeship funding and ensuring compliance with education funding policies. Andy holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and Psychology from Aston University.
