Anna Thompson has extensive experience in journalism, currently serving as Assistant Editor at BBC Sport since 2010 and also holding the position of Assistant Editor for the BBC Sport website since January 2000. Prior to these roles, Anna worked at Blackpool Gazette under Johnston Press as part of the news desk from May 1993 to December 1999.
