Barney MacDonald is a seasoned media technology consultant with extensive experience in the broadcasting and digital content sectors. Currently serving on the BBC Web3 Advisory Board since November 2022, Barney has been a Strategic Partnership Consultant for Eluvio since February 2019, focusing on content distribution and monetization. Past roles include Media Technology Consultant for Roger Roger & Waldo Ltd since March 2014, and various consulting positions with organizations such as Channel 4, NMP, Red Bee Media, and BASE Media Cloud. Additionally, Barney held non-executive and committee positions at The Knowledge Lab and the Hollywood Professional Association UK. An alumnus of Portsmouth University, Barney has a proven track record in building strategies and managing supplier relationships for notable clients, including NBCUniversal and AMC Networks International.
