Ben Dixon

Ben Dixon is a seasoned data scientist currently serving as a Senior Data Scientist at BBC since January 2025, following a role as a Data Scientist at the same organization from January 2023 to April 2024, where innovative machine learning techniques were applied to enhance user engagement. Prior to his tenure at BBC, Ben contributed as a Data Scientist at Multiverse, focusing on the development and deployment of machine learning models. With a strong background in finance, Ben led financial operations for The Centre for Effective Altruism, managing a budget of $15M and overseeing financial processes. Ben's earlier experience as a Senior Consultant and Consultant at EY involved delivering finance transformation projects and gaining qualifications as an accountant. Ben holds an MSc in Computer Science from UCL and a degree in Economics and Politics from the University of Bristol, along with CGMA certification from The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants.
