Berza Simsek

Berza Simsek is a multi-skilled journalist and documentary filmmaker with 15 years of experience, currently working at BBC World Service. For the past 7 years, they have been producing, filming, and editing stories for BBC Turkish Service, focusing on world politics and critical human rights issues. Previously, Berza served as a video journalist and producer at the Associated Press, where they covered significant events such as the Syrian conflict and bombings in Turkey. They have also interned with notable organizations, including Amnesty International and Channel 4’s Unreported World, and hold a Master of Arts in International Journalism from City University London.
