Bill Thompson

Bill Thompson is currently an Advisory Board Member at Oxford Internet Institute, University of Oxford and the Editor in Chief and CTO at W4MP Partnership. Bill has a background in new media and digital development, having previously worked as the Principal Research Engineer at BBC R&D and Head of New Media at Guardian Newspapers Ltd. With extensive experience in the tech industry, Bill has also held roles such as Internet Ambassador at Pipex and Courseware Development Manager at The Instruction Set. Bill holds a Master's Degree in Computer Science from St Catharine's College, Cambridge University, and a Bachelor's Degree in Natural Sciences from the same institution.
