Billy Chan is a Principal Data Analyst (Acting) and Senior Data Analyst for Product Analytics at BBC, contributing significantly to the successful launch of the BBC News app in 2023, which became the UK's most popular news publisher app. Prior experience includes roles as a Data Analyst and Social Media Lead at on.cc, Digital Content Manager and Senior Journalist at HK01, Multimedia Journalist at Hong Kong Cable Television, News Correspondent at Radio Television Hong Kong, and Radio Journalist. Billy is pursuing a Level 7 AI and Data Science Apprenticeship at Cambridge Spark and holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Communication, Journalism, and Related Programs from Hong Kong Shue Yan University.
