Billy Clarke

Billy Clarke has extensive experience in wildlife and natural history production, currently serving as an Assistant Producer for BBC's "The Americas" since November 2014. In this role, Billy has directed multi-camera shoots and overseen pre-edit sequences, in addition to preparing storyboards and scripts. Previous positions include researcher roles on various productions, where Billy contributed to developing editorial pitches, organizing complex wildlife shoots globally, and creating engaging content that simplifies scientific concepts for international audiences. Billy's career began with roles such as Junior Researcher and Production Runner on notable programs, complemented by training as an Apprentice Edit Assistant on "Planet Earth II." Currently pursuing a Master's degree in Journalism at The University of Sheffield, Billy continues to build a diverse skill set in the field.
