Cameron Weldon

Cameron Weldon is an experienced journalist currently working at BBC since April 2019, where responsibilities include reporting, producing, and presenting across various media platforms in the South West of England and the Channel Islands. Prior roles include serving as a Sports Reporter at Adrenalin Quarry, and a Social Media Content Creator at The Non-League Paper. Cameron has also worked as a Sports Reporter and Photographer for Truro City Football Club, and held the position of Head of Media & Communications at Independent Media. Additional experience includes contributions to The Kopite, Source FM 96.1, and Newsquest Media Group, as well as a previous role as a Stadium Reporter for Genius Sports. Cameron holds a degree in Sports Journalism from Falmouth University and completed a BTEC in Sports Coaching with a focus on Football at Bridgwater & Taunton College.
