Catherine Grimes

Catherine Grimes is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in music rights management and business affairs within prominent broadcasting organizations. Since June 2011, Catherine has held the position of Manager, specifically serving as the Business Affairs Manager for Music Rights at the BBC. This role involves overseeing the Music Copyright team, which is responsible for managing the use of existing music across all BBC content and negotiating contracts for composers of new music and arrangements. Prior to this, Catherine worked as a Music Copyright Executive at BBC Television from April 2010 to May 2011 and served as the Rights Clearance and Research Manager at the Australian Broadcasting Corporation from 2009 to 2010. Catherine's academic background includes studies at Liverpool John Moores University and Loreto Convent Grammar School in Omagh.
