Chris Steers is an experienced presenter and journalist with a background in radio and media. Starting at Castledown FM in October 2012, Chris initially served as a producer and host for various shows, including the Seeing Stars astronomy feature. Chris advanced to the role of Station Manager at One Media Group from May 2019 to June 2021, overseeing operations and programming for Staffordshire University’s Student Run Radio Station. In February 2022, Chris joined BBC Midlands Today as a journalist, sourcing stories and producing content, while also working as a Social Media Journalist for BBC Radio Stoke and freelancing with BBC Radio Merseyside. Chris holds a Bachelor's degree in Film, TV & Radio from Staffordshire University, graduating with first-class honors in 2020.
