Christopher Winstanley is currently a Principal iOS Engineer at the BBC, working on the BBC Sounds iOS application and previously on iPlayer. They are also the organizer of NSManchester, a monthly iOS/macOS developer meet-up in Manchester. Christopher graduated with a distinction in MSc Advanced Computer Science and a first-class BSc in Computer Science with Innovations from Lancaster University. They have held various roles, including Research Associate, Mobile Development Manager, and Game Developer, showcasing a strong background in software engineering and mobile application development. Christopher is presently pursuing a Ph.D. in Prediction Support for IoT Applications at Lancaster University.
