Dan Richards

Dan Richards is an experienced media professional with a diverse background in broadcasting and production. Currently serving as a Freelance Producer at BBC since June 2022, Dan has previously held roles as a Radio Presenter and Social Media Manager at Black Country Radio, as well as at 102.5 The Bridge, where a notable contribution included presenting Weekend Breakfast shows. Dan's extensive experience includes positions as Assistant Station Manager at Scratch Radio, where a revitalization effort led to multi-award recognition, and as a Freelance Producer at GMG Radio Limited producing significant regional shows. Early career experiences include Broadcast Assistant roles at BBC Radio Leicester and BBC, along with a longstanding tenure as a Radio Presenter at Dudley Hospital Radio. Dan holds a Master of Arts in Radio and Audio Production from Birmingham City University, complemented by a BA (Hons) in Media and Communication focused on Radio Production from the same institution.
