Daniel Ashcroft

Daniel Ashcroft is a seasoned project manager with extensive experience in the broadcasting and public sectors. Currently serving as the Lead Technical Project Manager at BBC since October 2014, Daniel leads the BBC Technology Group in delivering broadcast solutions and manages a team of technical project managers. Previous roles at BBC include managing the re-launch of the BBC Three linear channel and overseeing significant upgrades in media and broadcast systems. Earlier career highlights include project management for the Town Hall Complex Transformation Programme at Manchester City Council and leading a Systems Thinking initiative at Friends Provident. Daniel holds a Bachelor of Science in Professional Broadcast Techniques and a Higher National Diploma in Professional Sound and Video Technology from The University of Salford, alongside A-Levels in Media Studies, Business Studies, and English Language & Literature.
