Dave Walters is currently the Technology Controller at BBC, where they lead the team responsible for designing the technology and systems that deliver exceptional radio content. Previously, they served as the Head of Systems and Services for TV, Radio, and Archive at BBC in 2016. Prior to that, they were the Head of Broadcast Technology and IT at Global Radio, overseeing a team dedicated to technical aspects of broadcasting and IT. Beginning their career as a Broadcast Engineer at Chrysalis Radio in 1997, Dave has accumulated extensive experience in the broadcast technology field. They hold a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree from The University of Hull, which they earned in 1993.
