David Aston

David Aston is the Head of Programmes at BBC Radio Bristol, where they have worked since 2010. With over 25 years of experience as a presenter, coach, journalist, and team leader, David began their career in the commercial sector before transitioning to the BBC. They previously held positions at Radio Wyvern, BBC Radio Cumbria, Radio City, Liverpool, and BBC Radio Gloucestershire, where they served as Head of Programmes from 2000 to 2010. David holds a Bachelor's Degree in Economics and Geography from UCL and a Post Graduate Diploma in Radio Journalism from Falmouth University.
